Kathleen Kerr, painter and photographer, is a native of Boston, Massachusetts now residing in Puerto Penasco, Mexico. | During her painting career, she has worked in various media including oils, acrylics, watercolors, and permanent inks. To the art of photography, she brings a painter's eye. Her most recent paintings reflect her love of the sea; her camera, her interest in cultures around the world.
From art festivals to drama productions and invention fairs, she enjoys involving others in creative activities. Her joy in the creation of art is infectious. As an evaluator for the New England Association of Secondary Schools and Colleges, she has developed and implemented highly praised curriculum and programs in art, history, English and drama. Kathleen Kerr is a sum cum laude graduate with degrees in art and English. She has completed postgraduate courses, presented and attended workshops and classes, and traveled extensively. Her work is in countless private collections and has been exhibited in galleries from Boston to Mexico. A portion of all artwork sold goes to charities in Puerto Penasco.
